Dog Monitor for Android gets HD video and audio

We are very glad to announce that we have gone a step further in terms of video quality. Android users now have the opportunity to watch their doggy sleep in HD.

We realize the video quality had not been adequate so we focused on this issue and we are proud to say the quality is heavily improved now.

The latest version of Dog Monitor comes with HD video support (up to 720p) for you to fully utilize the capacity of your big screen on your phone, tablet or Android TV.

We are aware of the fact that higher video quality  comes together with bigger data usage. Therefore we left HD video optional. You can choose whether you want  to use HD video or SD video instead. Thanks to new video settings you can also choose different levels (Low, High and HD) of video quality for different situations (Wi-FI, cellular). As a  default, we left original video quality when any of the devices is on cellular network, so you don’t have to worry about additional costs for data.

We all know, video comes together with audio. As we improved the visual element of the app, we worked on the sound as well. We looked at our audio code and made itbetter too so now Dog Monitor allows you much better audio quality with the same usage of data.

Enjoy the new version and let us know what you think about it in the comments or write a review on Google Play.

Note: update was a release for Android, the iOS version for all devices was released earlier.
