We pay attention to our users’ feedback and what they would like to have in our apps. During the past few months, we focused on our free desktop geotagging app Geotag Photos Pro. As many users reached out to us with problems occurring when tagging the photos with our desktop app, rather than an update, we decided to start from a scratch and create a new desktop version. Let’s take a look at what’s new! 🙂
When creating the new desktop version, we used many new technologies to make the app overall more user-friendly and easier to use than the old version.
We implemented a brand new design which is now more related to Geotag Photos Pro 2. We looked closely at some issues that occurred in the previous version. The new desktop version is available on macOS, Windows, and Linux and there won’t be any more problems with installing the app on different operating systems. Also, it doesn’t depend on the Java anymore!
The overall tagging process is now much easier, there isn’t any different version for online / offline tagging. You can manually select GPX files and photos directories before each tagging process and only the tagged photos will appear in the app.
Make sure to download the new version at our website. We’d love to hear your feedback, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
