With the autumn season in its full swing and days getting colder, we prepared a new update of Baby Monitor 3G for iOS and macOS to cheer you up a little!🎃 And with the Christmas getting closer every day🎄, we wanted to make sure the app adjusts to your individual needs and becomes easier to use.
With the new iOS 12 update, it’s possible to use Siri Shortcuts to control Baby Monitor 3G! This way you can start monitoring with just one tap or by calling Siri.
With Baby Monitor 3G, you can use three different shortcuts doing the following: open device as Baby Station, start monitoring when Baby Station is active (or open as Parent Station when no Baby Station is active), and open Activity log.
How to add Shortcuts to Baby Monitor 3G?
2) Now open Shortcuts, tap on “+,” tap on “Search,” and choose “Baby Monitor 3G.”
3) Now all three shortcuts will appear. Tap on the Shortcut “Activity Log,” to add it. Now tap on “switch” – here you can rename the shortcuts, change the icon and the color, and add it to the home screen. You can add the shortcut to Siri if you wish to control it with your voice.
4) Tap on “Done,” and you’re ready to use the Shortcut!🙂 With just one tap on the icon or with your voice, you can run and control different actions in Baby Monitor 3G.
You can add the other two Shortcuts the same way.
Baby Monitor 3G now runs smoothly on brand new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. On your iMacs and MacBooks, make sure to update the app so it works smoothly with the newest macOS Mojave. And if you prefer monitoring with the smartwatch, Baby Monitor 3G works on Apple Watch Series 4 as well.
Let us know what you think and if there are any other Shortcuts you’d like to have in the app!🙂
